(hereinafter referred to as “Customer”)
These agreements can be concluded. They also apply to registered partner workshops.
(hereinafter referred to as “Partner Company”),
which are mediated or integrated via the platform.
2. Description of services
AutoSchadenCheck.de offers online vehicle damage assessment and the creation of cost estimates based on data and images provided by the customer. The service is limited to providing the platform and its technical infrastructure, as well as generating cost estimates, short reports, and expert reports.
3. Conclusion of the contract
Using the website and submitting the damage report form constitutes a non-binding inquiry. A binding contract between the customer and AutoSchadenCheck.de is formed as soon as the customer has completed payment of the stated fee and received confirmation by email. Use of the service is subject to a fee; the prices listed on the website at the time of booking apply.
4. User account and access to processes
After the claim has been submitted and successfully recorded, the customer receives a case number. By entering this number and their vehicle registration number, they can view their claim online at any time. The customer agrees to keep their login details confidential and not to grant unauthorized third parties access to them.
5. Customer’s obligations
The customer is obligated to provide all information truthfully and completely. In particular, they are responsible for ensuring that the uploaded images clearly and accurately depict the damage to the vehicle. False or insufficient information may lead to rejection or incorrect processing, or the appraiser may request new images from the customer.
6. Liability and Warranty
AutoSchadenCheck.de is not liable for the accuracy of the customer’s information or the quality of work performed by partner workshops during repairs or services. Liability for ordinary negligence is excluded, unless essential contractual obligations are affected.
Terms and Conditions addendum on diversity, equal treatment & transparency
7. Equal treatment, inclusion and transparency
AutoSchadenCheck.de stands for openness, diversity, and equal opportunities. We do not exclude any person or group of people based on origin, skin color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, worldview, disability, or age.
Our offers and content are explicitly aimed at all people – regardless of social, cultural, or personal characteristics.
For reasons of readability, we sometimes use gender-specific or abbreviated forms, but we always address all genders and identities equally .
Discrimination, exclusion, or disadvantage – whether direct or indirect – has no place with us . AutoSchadenCheck.de is committed to transparency, fairness, and respectful interaction – in communication, service, and interpersonal relationships.
8. Forwarding to third parties
With the customer’s explicit consent, their data will be forwarded to third parties such as workshops, insurers, or car dealers for the purpose of preparing offers. AutoSchadenCheck.de acts solely as an intermediary in this process and is not a party to any subsequent agreements between the customer and these third parties.
9. Partner workshops
Registered partner workshops agree to the processing and use of their provided company data (including contact details, service offerings, images, logo) by AutoSchadenCheck.de for the purpose of customer referral and publication on the website (e.g. as a recommended workshop or referral partner).
In particular, they grant AutoSchadenCheck.de the right to display the company logo on the website or in advertising materials. This consent can be revoked in writing at any time.
AutoSchadenCheck.de assumes no liability for statements or services provided by the partner company to end customers.
Each partner company acts independently under the law.
10. Prices and Payment Terms
Use of this service is subject to a fee. Prices are listed on the website and include VAT. Payment is processed through the payment providers offered on the website (e.g., PayPal, Amazon Pay, Mollie). The service will be provided upon receipt of payment.
11. Special notes on expert reports in liability cases
When selecting the product “Expert Report on Liability Claims”, AutoSchadenCheck.de assumes that the accident was not the fault of the customer and that the opposing insurance company will cover the costs of the expert report in accordance with § 249 BGB.
However, should it subsequently turn out that the question of liability is unclear or that the applicant (customer) was wholly or partly at fault for the accident, the opposing insurance company may refuse to cover the expert’s fees.
In such a case, the customer or their own insurance company is liable for the costs incurred for the expert opinion. AutoSchadenCheck.de is entitled in this case to invoice the customer for the full fee according to the price list.
Note: The customer is responsible for ensuring that a liability claim is justified. The final determination of liability is not the responsibility of AutoSchadenCheck.de, but rather, if necessary, of legal counsel or a court.
12. Compensation for partner workshops (temporary additional service)
AutoSchadenCheck.de may grant registered partner companies compensation for expenses incurred in the preparation and processing of full liability expert reports as part of a temporary additional service.
The compensation currently amounts to €79 gross per submitted and successfully processed full liability expert report and is paid out by credit to the business account designated by the partner company after confirmed receipt of payment from the opposing insurance company, usually within 6-8 weeks.
The entitlement to compensation for expenses exists exclusively for full liability expert reports submitted via the AutoSchadenCheck.de platform between January 14, 2026 and March 31, 2026 inclusive.
AutoSchadenCheck.de expressly reserves the right to extend, change, limit, or discontinue this additional service at any time without prior notice, without giving rise to any legal claim for future or pending claims.
A claim for payment of the expense allowance exists only if
the liability assessment report was properly and completely prepared,
the opposing insurance company has settled the expert fees and
The insurance company has not issued a complete or partial rejection of the claim.
The compensation for expenses does not constitute a commission, cashback, revenue share or profit share, but rather a voluntary, one-time compensation for the additional organizational effort of the partner company, in particular due to the deployment of personnel in connection with damage assessment and settlement.
13. Right of withdrawal
Since the service is an individually created digital service, the statutory right of withdrawal expires as soon as AutoSchadenCheck.de has started to execute the order, the customer has paid and has expressly agreed that the execution will begin.
14. Data protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with our privacy policy,
